Conversations at the Pub
Many of us also participate in regular conversational gatherings over beer: Pub Theology Holland meets on Monday nights, 7pm at Brew Merchant in Washington Square. Pub Theology Saugatuck meets on Wednesday nights, 7pm at Alley’s Classic American Diner in Douglas. We’d love to have you join us at either of these gatherings!
Justice and Service
We seek out opportunities to serve and pursue justice in our community: sharing meals with immigrant and migrant neighbors, collecting food for hungry children, supporting and working with area LGBTQ organizations, raising awareness, and more! Details can usually be found on our Facebook page.
Join our conversation on Rob Bell’s latest book: “What is the Bible?”
You are more than welcome to join us for any or all of these conversations. We’ll be discussing Part 3 of the book next time, Sunday, July 23 at Bryan & Christy’s place. We’ll gather at 6pm for food and conversation! Get your copy here!
From the book:
“It’s possible to resist the very growth and change and expanding consciousness that God desires for you by appealing to your religious convictions.”
Intentional Dinner Gatherings
Enjoy a good dinner party? A few of us heard about a method of gathering with a few friends every couple of weeks to get to know each other and go a little deeper.
At the meal, three questions are asked: 1) What has brought you life since we last met? 2) What has brought you death? 3) What opportunities came your way to bring life, healing, wholeness, justice – and in what ways were you able to step into them?
