Diversity Potluck in the Park

August 14, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

picnic-among-closest-friends-and-relatives18th ACEH Potluck in the Park Sunday, August 14, from 1 to 4 p.m. in Dunton Park

Everyone’s invited! Bring your family, friends, neighbors, coworkers. Bring the kids/los niños, the aunts and uncles/tías y tíos, the grandmas and grandpas/abuelas y abuelos.  Invite someone who’s new in town, perhaps a neighbor or a refugee family. The Alliance for Cultural and Ethnic Harmony is a welcoming place for everyone and the annual potluck is fun for all.

Please bring a dish to share, one from your own culture if possible, as well as lawn chairs and blankets if you want to.  ACEH provides table service and beverages.  We’ll have music, and games, and children’s activities, and a chance to meet new people and greet old friends.

Dunton Park is just north and west of the River Avenue Bridge.  Turn west off River onto Douglas/Ottawa Beach Road and take the second street south to Howard Avenue.  Turn right on Howard and go ¼ mile to the main entrance of the park. http://www.hct.holland.mi.us/departments/parks/howardbduntonpark
